joie de vivre: photography

It’s been a long dream of mine to dive into the world of photography.

My lovely fiancé surprised me with a camera one day and since then I have been working up the courage to schedule photo shoots with friends and family.  A way for me to practice, learn, mess up and fix. I was honored to photograph my lifelong best friend who is 7 months pregnant.  A person who I have no doubt will be an amazing mother.

joie de vivre: yoga

I’ve been a yoga teacher since 2011. It’s one of my greatest joys in life. I can say, with complete certainty, that yoga has made me become more in tune and aware.

I know though that I can be so hard to find the time to get on your mat. Life gets in the way and before you know it a week (…or month!) goes by and you haven’t been to yoga. Here is a very short yoga video for you to practice at home. It’s a perfect way to start your day or add to your morning routine.

Try it. Share it. Enjoy it!

There are also many amazing yoga teachers out there. Here are some of my favorites:

Kathryn Budig

Elena Brower

Kimberly Wilson
